St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko become the global cover athlete for NHL 17

EA has announced the final selection of the cover satr of NHL 17 in the June 22 at the NHL awards ceremony held in Las Vegas. EA unveil St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko as the global cover athlete for NHL 17. For the four-year veteran, Tarasenko’s path to the cover wasn't easy. After defeating Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman in the first round, he squeaked by former Art Ross winner and Dallas Stars captain Jamie Benn. In the finals, Tarasenko faced off against San Jose Sharks captain Joe Pavelski. In the end, the support of the St. Louis Blues and their fans were the difference as Vladimir came out on top to win the NHL 17 Cover Vote.
 
The new works of EA's "North American Hockey League career" NHL 17 is the 26th installment in the NHL game series and was released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles on September 13, 2016 in North America and September 15 in Europe.
